Why should I sign up for 1800MyCondo Membership?

Membership registration is simple; Members have access to Rental Ads, Sales Ads, resort descriptions and can make inquiries directly to timeshare owners. Members can also post Ads for an additional fee and 1800MyCondo offers several unique services such as "Rental until Sale" Ads and "Closeout Deals". There are many additional Ad Features and Enhancements to make sure your timeshare Ad gets noticed. For more info learn about why you should use 1800MyCondo

How do I make inquires about an Ad?

Once you find a Resort and Ad Listing that appeals you, click "View this Ad" for more detail and ?Respond to this Ad? directly through the Ad page. This message will be sent to the owners MyCondo Inbox. If you are not a member, membership is required to contact prospective owners. Membership is FREE for the first 6 Months (LIMITED TIME OFFER) $9.99 for 12 months and you will receive an email notice immediately.

 

How do I locate a listing if I already know the Ad ID?

If you know the Ad ID, go to the Search box located at the top right of every page and select "By 1800MyCondo ID" and enter the ID.

 

Do you have Advanced Searching features?

You can search resorts by 1-800MyCondo ID, Location & Resort Name in the upper right column of every page at 1800MyCondo. You can browse resorts by location in our Resort Directory Map or select one of the many Timeshare Companies or Vacation Attractions categories in the lower left hand column (Beaches, Casinos, Family Vacations, Golf, Health Spas, Lakes, Scuba & Water Sports, Skiing, All Inclusive).

 

Can I limit my search by unit size, type, or amenities?

Not yet, however check back with us often because we will be adding Advanced Search filters very soon that will allow you to search Resales or Rentals and sort by:
Sleeps how many(COMING SOON)
Number of bedrooms(COMING SOON)

1800MyCondo will add Advanced Search filter for a search by Points for Timeshare Companies, but not specific unit amenities. (COMING SOON)

 

What if the week I want isn't listed?

Owners post their timeshare weeks for rent or sale. 1800MyCondo doesn't have inventory other than what is posted. Try locating the week you want by-

  • Requesting email notification when new listings are added by clicking the "Be notified of new listings" link on the resort page. (COMING SOON)
  • List a want ad in the MyCondo Want Ads (COMING SOON)
  • 1800MyCondo doesn't have inventory other than what is posted. However, send an email to customercare@1800MyCondo.com
    with the resort, week and rent or buy unit you are looking for and we will try and help find an owner.

 

What if the Resort I want isn't listed?

Should you not find the timeshare resort you are looking for, send us an email with the name and location of this resort. 1800MyCondo will add a resort to our directory if available.

  • Send an email to customercare@1800MyCondo.com with "Add a Resort" in the subject line and the name and location of this resort. The more info you provide will help insure that we can make this happen as soon as possible.

 

What is the expected response time to an inquiry?

As a rule, you deal with the timeshare owner, not the resort or a reservation system. Most owners have responsibilities besides handling their timeshares and this can cause slow response times. Generally, you should give an owner up to 10 days to reply. If you have not received a reply after a week, contact the owner again. If you do not receive a response within two weeks (14 days), contact us the Ad ID(s) you have inquired about and we will follow up. Send an email to customercare@1800MyCondo.com with Ad ID(s) and we will contact the owner and follow up with you through your MyCondo Inbox.

 

Can I rent by the night?

Most owners list their timeshare as a full week. Nightly rentals are not ideal for owners since they are usually renting the week to cover their maintenance fees. If you will pay the full rental price, a shorter stay should not be a problem. Just let the owner and resort know the date you will be checking-in so they will hold the unit. You can make an offer for fewer nights, but expect to pay a higher daily rate and possibly a cleaning fee, if the owner is willing to make this arrangement.

 

How do I finalize a rental transaction?

After you have responded to an Ad and come to an agreement with the owner, please visit our Renting a Timeshare from MyCondo Owner page for more information.

 

Are all the prices listed in $ USD?

1800MyCondo request rental and sale prices be set in $ USD, but check when making an inquiry. This is especially important when inquiring about an international resort.

 

What is MyCondo Want Ad? (COMING SOON)

The MyCondo Want Ad is a typical "Want Ad" for MyCondo members who are interested in finding a timeshare at a specific resort and or a specific week at a respective resort. Check back with us often because we will be adding features like this on a regular basis.

Ad Listings can be added to your resort's page at starting at $17.99 for each 6-month Rental Ad, and $25.99 for 6-month Resale Ad.

How does listing work?

List your timeshare, terms, and pertinent information for your resort on your Ad page. Interested shoppers contact you through your MyCondo Inbox to make a deal. You manage the transaction. Visit our List and Sell Your Timeshare or List and Rent Your Timeshare for more information.

Start by locating your resort's page, look for the the Ad type "Rental or Resale" boxes and click on the "Add a "Rental" Listing or "Add a Resale" to this resort and then fill out the one page form to list your Ad.

It's simple, easy and fast.

Customers interested in renting your timeshare will "Respond to this Ad" directly through your ad page at 1800MyCondo.com. This message will be sent to your MyCondo Inbox and you will receive an email notice immediately. We keep your personal contact info private until you determine you want to communicate directly to other MyCondo members. All you need to do is follow up with the prospective buyers or renters and move forward on finalizing the deal.

Be sure to check your Message Inbox regularly, even if you don't use it to reply to inquiries. Filters on your email account can make you miss inquiries.

 

How do I list my floating week?

Enter the full range of possible dates when you list your Ad. For example, if all weeks are available you would select;

Start Date: January 1, 2009
End Date: December 31, 2009

 

How do I edit my Ad?

You can view and edit your Ads in the MyCondo Account section:

You will see each of your Ads along with options to view, edit, list a new Ad with the same information, or to remove your Ad select "Deactivate This Ad".

 

How will I receive inquiries?

This message will be sent to your MyCondo Inbox and you will receive an email notice immediately. We keep your personal contact info private until you determine you want to communicate directly to other MyCondo members. Trouble Shooting

 

Why isn't my Ad appearing?

There are several possible reasons your Ad may not be showing up:

  • Check the standing of your membership. Has it expired? 1800MyCondo requires an active membership for the duration of the listing. If your membership expires before your Ad does, renew your membership to cover the length of the Ad listing.
  • Have the availability dates you listed passed? Review the listed dates you included on your Ad. You can reactivate your Ad if have time left before the Ad's expiration date.
  • Have your Ads have expired? Ad expiration dates are independent from your membership expiration date, and renewing your membership does not renew your listings. Membership is required in order to list, but Ads require an additional fee of $17.99 for a 6-month rental Ad, and $35.99 for 6-month Resale Ad. You can check your Ad expiration dates and renew listings from Your Timeshare Ads page.
  • If your Ad has never appeared, it may still be in your Cart waiting for payment. Ads require an additional fee on top of your membership payment. View your Cart.
  • Your e-mail address in your MyCondo Account is not working and we have problems contacting you. We will temporarily remove your Ads, if our e-mail messages to your address bounces or you do not reply. E-mail is the initial and primary contact for potential renters and buyers to talk with you. It is very important to update your e-mail address in MyCondo Account if it has changed.

How can I renew my membership and/or listings?

You will receive a reminder notice 30 days before your MyCondo membership expires and we will automatically renew your membership for $9.99 for the next 12 months. Should you want to cancel you membership you will find the instructions in your Account Details section of your MyCondo Account.
You can renew your Ad Listings within 30 days of expiration through the MyCondo Timeshare Ad Listings section of MyCondo Account. Click "View / Edit Your Timeshare Ad Listings" and select "View" for the Ad you want to renew and then find the "Renew This Ad" link.

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

1800MyCondo accepts most major credit cards; Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover Card. Create your Ad Listing, add your Enhancements to make your Ad more visible and select "Purchase This Ad" to proceed to the Cart. When you are finished adding items, click the link under "Payment Information" in your Cart and select your "Payment Source" and complete your transaction.

Remember your MyCondo membership will not be renewed or your Ad Listing(s) will not display on the site until payment is received and processed.

 

What is your refund policy?

At 1800Mycondo.com we strive to ensure that every MyCondo Member is fully satisfied with their purchase. No Ad Listings are refunded except on an exception basis as granted by the 1800MyCondo Board of Directors. Refund requests must be received in writing by email or by U.S. mail as instructed below. Refunds are reviewed at least every 30 days and pending approval, you should expect to receive your refund within 30 business days depending on the original form of payment. We'll notify you of your pending refund upon approval.

How do I update my account information?

Click the MyCondo Account link on the left side column. From there you can update your MyCondo profile (name, e-mail, etc.), change your password, modify your Ad Listings, change your Billing Information and change your e-mail subscriptions. Please contact us for assistance in changing your user name.
